The Art of the Slow Itinerary
There is a particular kind of exhaustion that comes from a trip planned too tightly — the sense that you have seen a great deal and felt almost none of it. We design against that feeling deliberately.
Space as a luxury
The most memorable days on any itinerary are rarely the busiest. They are the unhurried mornings, the long lunch that becomes the afternoon, the walk with no particular destination. We build these in on purpose.
The goal is not to see everything. It is to feel completely at ease in one extraordinary place.
That is the quiet discipline of a good itinerary: knowing what to leave out, so that everything you leave in can breathe.
